The Bay Area is big, stretching all the way from Marin County to San Jose and home to more than 6 million people, which is half as big again as the population of Los Angeles. However, the great thing about the Internet for helping you with SEO is that you can be in Marin County and I could be in San Jose (I’m not – I’m actually in SF) or we could be on the same street. It doesn’t matter.

Frankly, that is exactly where I should be. It’s astonishing how many “SEO experts” there are who don’t figure on Page 1 of Google but are hidden away somewhere on page 6 or even lower. If they can’t get their own business to the top of Google what chance is there of them getting you there? Of course, they may claim that they are so busy with looking after their clients that they don’t have the time to work on their own business. However, to use an analogy, if I were going into battle in the War of Independence I would prefer to be led by a five star general rather than a corporal.
